Curriculum on Environment and Wildlife

WCN works with the Government of Nepal and relevant national and international organizations to promote a timely and modern Curriculum of the 21st century on Environment. NPP has also supported the Curriculum Development Center to develop the Framework for Local Curriculum in 2014 based on its unique experience in the development and successful implementation of local curriculums.

It is also dedicated to helping local governments make local curriculum on pertinent local issues including mapping of the local natural and cultural resources essay moment. It has supported the development and implementation of the Local Curriculum in Rasuwa and Chitwan since 2008. As of 2019 NPP has working partnerships with 14 Municipalities (Budanilkantha Municipality, Shankharapur Municipality, Gokarneshwor Municipality, Tokha Municipality, Ratnanagar Municipality, Kalika Municipality, Khairahani Municipality, Madi Municipality, Madi Municipality, Rapti Municipality, Bharatpur Municipality, Bardaghat Municipallity, Sunawal Municipality, Damak Municipality), 2 Metropolitan Cities (Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Kathmandu, Bharatpur Metropolitan City) and 4 Rural Municipalities (Gosaikunda Rural Municipality, Parwati Kunda Rural Municipality, Ichchakamana Rural Municipality,Sarawal Rural Municipality) in developing and implementing Local Curriculum.
