1. Species-Level Research
Through the Species Conservation sub-program, WCN is actively involved in conservation activities including researches at the field level focused on endangered, and charismatic wild species listed on IUCN red data book. Besides this, WCN has also been conducting research, workshops and seminars on superlative and lesser-known species of Nepal engaging young wildlife scientists to nurture their interest in them. 

WCN has been conducting species level research of different wild flora and fauna. WCN has also initiated a citizen science approach for the study of different species of Nepal in collaboration with different organizations.
