We are deeply saddened by the devastating flash floods unfolding across Nepal. Our heartfelt condolences go out to every family who has lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods.
Many of the most severely impacted areas fall directly within our project and field locations.
We are closely observing the situation on the ground, listening, following the facts, and aligning with government directives. We are evaluating how Wildlife Conservation Nepal can best support relief work, both in the immediate short term and for long-term recovery.
Once we fully assess the situation and establish a targeted strategy where our involvement delivers maximum impact, we will reach out to our network with a formal appeal for support. We are also reaching out to our allainces and forming new ones to come to a single point of action.
