Wildlife Conservation Nepal (WCN) organized a Winter camp 2022 from 10th January 2022 to 15th January 2022 under the environmental education program i.e., Nepal Prakriti Pathshala on the premises of WCN. The main objective of this program is to provide learning skills to the children about various environmental-related awareness and preservation of natural resources existing in their surroundings. A total of 12 primary school children participated in the camp. In this camp, various hands-on indoor and outdoor activities were conducted such as a tree as a habitat, bird watching, learning about how to pitch a tent, building a traditional stove, learning about different plants, making local food from that plants, and vegetables, art and paintings, clay modeling, waste management, plantation and lastly nature journaling as children had to write their feelings of what they reflect from the whole day.
