Training On Professional Development Course

WCN Nepal Prakriti Pathshala team along with the Education Officer of Kathmandu Metropolitan City and representatives from other relevant stakeholders attended the 5 day Professional Development Course on the Training of Trainers for Environmental Education from December 17 to December 21, 2018 at AIT Extension, Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. The overall objective of the training was to acquaint trainees on the areas and field of knowledge on local curriculum development, introduce interactive teaching and learning methods suitable subject matters and for increasing the effectiveness of awareness raising programs, identify techniques to engage students in learning activities, familiarize teachers on the use of information technology to incorporate in-classroom activities and provide opportunities to learn lessons on the implementation of environmental education program from other countries.
