Sharing and Interaction Program for Developing Traditional Livelihood Programs

WCN visited Unnati Cultural Village, in Nawalparasi, which is run by CG Foundation as a common platform where artists can co-work and co-create while reviving cottage industries and indigenous livelihood practices. WCN team interacted and engaged with the Unnati Cultural Village team to learn and share ideas on how learning centers can operate successfully and the challenges and issues of place-based centers. The teams discussed ideas on promoting innovative arts, crafts, hospitality, organic farming, and traditional skills while operating eco-friendly programs. WCN Eco Centre will also be focused on using local resources, building green infrastructures, and developing traditional livelihood programs for the local communities across the country while mentoring the young generations on nature stewardship and climate action.
