Eco-Restoration

On the Occasion of World Environment Day 2019, WCN together with United Nations (UN) Nepal and members of Sapantirtha Guthi planted different kinds of fruits, flowering and other tree species at Sapantirtha, Tokha. Saplings of Jacaranda, Bottlebrush, Guava, Dhupi, Kanike, Camphor and Jamun were planted.

The main goal of the program was to create an environment friendly recreation area for the local people of Tokha, bring awareness on climate change issues and support in demonstration and adaptation practices that reduce the impact of climatic change on peoples’ livelihood.
