Development Of Local Curriculum For Shankharapur Municipality

Experts from Curriculum Development Center, Wildlife Conservation Nepal (WCN), Teachers and Principal from the schools of Shankharapur and Gorkaneswor Municipality, historians, literary and agriculture experts of Shankharapur Municipality and Curriculum Experts from Tribhuvan University gathered together, discussed and finalized the draft of the local curriculum for Shankharapur Municipality. The outcomes of the workshop were presented to the Mayor of Shankharapur Municipality.

The workshop conducted on July 24 -25, 2019 was hosted by the Department of Education of Shankharapur Municipality. Facilitated by Mr. Baudha Raj Niraula, Head, Department of Education of the Municipality, the workshop was chaired by Mr. Suwarna Shrestha, Mayor, Shankharapur Municipality. Also present during the workshop were Mr. Diwakar Dhungel, Former Executive Director, CDC, Mr. Tek Narayan Pandey, Director General, Education Review office, CEO, Shankarapur Municipality, Mr. Ganesh Prasad Bhattarai, Director, CDC, Mr. Prahlad Aryal, Director, CEHRD and Mr. Prasanna Yonzon, CEO, WCN.
