WCN Curbing Illegal Wildlife Team recently conducted a sensitization workshop to 275 Armed Police Officers in the Eastern Region of Nepal. Mr. Shyam Bajimaya, Former Director General for DNPWC, Dr. Chuda B Shrestha, Lawyer and Former SSP of Nepal Police, Mr. Prasanna Yonzon, Wildlife Biologist and CEO, WCN and Mr. Nabin G Baidya, Program Manager, WCN conducted classes which dealt on technical know how and mechanisms to control wildlife crime and updated the personnels on rules and regulations on illegal wildlife trade. The classes were conducted to the Armed Police Force Battalions in Mechi, Morang and Inaruwa.
