Biodiversity Conservation and Wildlife Crime Control Resource Book, 2020

Wildlife Conservation Nepal (WCN) under the leadership of Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation (DNPWC) developed and published a comprehensive resource book "Biodiversity Conservation and Wildlife Crime Control Resource Book, 2020". This book is developed as a national level resource material to be used in training for enforcement agencies as well as reference materials for students and researchers.
The concept of this book was developed based on the need identified by the WCN during its capacity building and sensitization programs to enforcement agencies at various places in Nepal. The concept was welcomed by DNPWC and after many meetings with conservation stakeholders the content of the book was finalized and a task force was formed to collect and collate the contents. After the task force prepared the draft a review panel of eight renowned conservationist and experts of Nepal was formed. The book was finalized after incorporating feedbacks from review committee.
