Happy World Nature Conservation Day, 2022.

Wildlife Conservation Nepal is pleased to announce the recipients of the PREM CONSERVATION GRANT, 2022 on the Occasion of World Nature Conservation day, 2022. Big Congratulations to Ms. Anu Rai and Ms. Dipa Rai.
Ms. Anu Rai is currently doing her Master's in Environmental Science Specialization in Natural Resources from Kathmandu University. Her Research Title is, "Modelling Golden Mahseer Distribution to Inform Spatial Conservation Decisions".

Ms. Dipa Rai is currently doing her Master's in Environmental Science from GoldenGate International College. Her Research Title is, "Assessing the impact of tea plantations on the Amphibian communities in the tea plantation-dominated agricultural landscape of Eastern Nepal".

The Research proposals were judged by Ms. Samridhi Shrestha, Full Time Faculty in the College of Science Engineering and Technology, Mr. Prakash Chandra Aryal, Lecturer and Field Biologist, and Mr. Nabin Bidhya, Environmentalist and Program Manager/Senior Nature Interpreter at Wildlife Conservation Nepal. 

The Research Grant focuses to encourage young scientists who have the potential to become leaders in their discipline and provide a solution to environmental problems for
a larger community.
