The Conclave on Circularity II, held in December 2025 in Lumbini Province, brought together policymakers, businesses, civil society, academia, and youth to advance Nepal’s transition toward a circular economy. Organized under the EU-funded Roots of Circularity project, the event combined policy dialogue, innovation showcases, and capacity-building sessions. It highlighted opportunities in waste management, green entrepreneurship, and sustainable production, while identifying key challenges such as policy gaps, financing constraints, and limited awareness. By encouraging cross-sector collaboration and youth engagement, the conclave reinforced the importance of integrating traditional practices with modern approaches to build a resource-efficient, climate-resilient, and inclusive economy in Nepal.
