WCN works with photographers, artists, writers, and groups from different backgrounds to ensure positive dialogue and action for nature conservation. People are at the centre of all environmental problems and their solutions. Therefore, it is of paramount importance that people band together for climate justice, environmental conservation and economic sustainability if we are to hand over a thriving world to future generations.WCN particularly regards the role of women paramount in maintaining ecological and economic balance in the world with roles of vanguards of conservation and nurturers.

Nature through lens is an annual Nature and Wildlife Photography competition launched by WCN in 2003 which has now become a national platform for nature and wildlife photographers to showcase their talents.
