“ Window to Faunal Diversity – Contemporary Knowledge 2016” Series (I)

Event Date: July 29, 2020

In order to understand and share the knowledge on lesser focussed wildlife species WCN has started a knowledge sharing series. It aims to create a platform where individuals or organizations can come together to share their knowledge on lesser focused wildlife species and try to identify the gaps and opportunities for effective conservation. This Year “ Window to Faunal Diversity – Contemporary Knowledge 2016” Series (I) was jointly organized by Natural History Museum (NHM) and Wildlife Conservation Nepal (WCN) on December 23, 2016 at the NHM premises. The wildlife species that were in focus in this event were Butterflies, Otter, Barn Owl and Frogs. Our sincere gratitude to our presenters Prof. Dr. Bhaiya Khanal, Prof Paras Mani Acharya, Mr. Prakash Aryal and Ms. Sabita Gurung for their presentations.
