Goodwill Ambassadors

On June 4, 2009, WCN in an occasion organized to mark the World Environment Day 2009 launched two youth icons of Nepal as its GOODWILL AMBASSADORS for NATURE CONSERVATION. Two very  popular media personalities of Nepal,  Suraj Singh Thakuri and Bhumika Thapa Shah are the Goodwill Ambassadors.

Our Goodwill ambassadors will expand the knowledge of environment intelligence far and wide. As a public figure, they have immense power in sensitizing local communities in understanding our environment and how individual efforts can bring about positive changes that are important to combat global climate change. We believe that they are the perfect candidates to advocate for nature conservation because not only they share our commitment in improving the local environments and create better and healthier surroundings not only for ourselves but for generations to come but they have already shown their commitment by advocating environmental securities in their lives and their line of work
