Nepal Prakriti Pathshala

Nepal Prakriti Pathshala (NPP) is an education program of WCN which focusses on promotion of environmental education and outdoor learning experience in schools. It raises awareness on environmental and natural resource issues, while instigating and motivating teachers, volunteers, organization leaders and students to be agents of change in the society.

Nature and Wildlife Photography

WCN believes photography as a powerful advocacy tool for nature conservation. WCN has been organizing a biennial photography festival to create a conducive environment to develop awareness and interest in nature conservation among people of all backgrounds through the medium of photography

Youth Environment Program

WCN encourages and involves youth from various educational background in its activities through volunteer recruitment program. Youth are the pillars of WCN activities.

School Garden Program

School Garden “Pathshala Karesa Barl” aims at the promotion of eco-literacy, sustainable living and livelihoods, healthy eating, nutrition education and life skills through focus on growing food and eating it in Nepal. It prioritizes experiential learning, integrates several subject areas and aims to extend the school garden’s influence to the whole school, students’ families and even form a sense of community integrated by food. It is a joint collaboration initiated by by WCN and Haver til Maver, Denmark.
