On March 14, 2018, Triyog High School have successfully completed yearly theme based “Towards-Zero Waste” Eco-Smart School Program of Nepal Prakriti Pathshala under Wildlife Coservation Nepal (WCN).
Triyog High School had adopted “Towards-Zero Waste” school program that was started on April of 2017. Various waste management activities in the school such as Waste types and its amount produced in School, waste management activities under 3R’s approach (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) and Composting etc. were conducted in school through facilitation of Wildlife Conservation Nepal. Waste management activities were instructed to students of Grade 4 and 5 whom shared knowledge to whole school community.
Eco-Smart Certification to Triyog High School by Green Star was handed to Niladri Parial, Principal of the Triyog High School by Chief Guest of the Program Mr. Prasanna Yonzon, Chief Executive Officer of WCN.
