Daniel Hervik, Head of Planning & Research and Amalie Ørsted, Team Leader from Haver til Maver along with Josipa Bicanic, Program Manager of DFE visited WCN in Kathmandu to initiate School Garden Program -Karesa Bari Nepal in the leading schools of Kathmandu. The schools are also part of the Eco-Smart Certification program of WCN. The team from Denmark engaged in a policy and guideline framework development workshop with the NPP team. Both Nepali and Danish Team exchanged ideas on the School Gardens. The team also scouted areas for Garden initiation in member Schools and met management of schools to chart the way forward. The schools who will be launching the School Graden Concept in 2018 are KetaKeti Bari, Ace School, Sunrise Boarding School, Creative Academy, John Dewey, Triyog High School and Kastamandap.
